Josh and Lora Engel are parents to Sarianne age 11, Everlee age 8, and Westyn who would have turned 5 on June 1st.  Josh has built an almost 20year career in the United States Army and Army Reserves having been deployed over seas on 3 separate missions he has built a strong foundation in his personal life.  Josh has also been a high school wrestling coach at his alma mater Dodgeland.  Where he consistently encouraged strong personal development in all the athletes and quickly found success by having multiple state champs over the course of his coaching career.

Lora has been in the insurance industry primarily the final expense emphasis for the last 13years, she found her passion by serving and helping during what for most is the absolute hardest time in families lives.

The children have been a part of University Lake School since 2017, and can’t thank the school community enough for all that they do. Family is very important to both Josh and Lora and they feel beyond blessed to have the kind of support they do from their large family tribe!

Westyn’s life from day one was the beginning of the Engels family’s journey to salvation because of the tremendous obstacles faced with having a child with life threatening medical diagnosis the family quickly learned that only God can provide the comfort needed to navigate this journey called life.  The family has been dedicated to their church family at Christian Life Church In Mequon for the last 4 years. Westyn Loved Jesus and so does the Engel family, they look forward to all that God has planned for their lives, they hope one day that through their testimony and your help that more knowledge and continued research to be a part of break throughs in CAH, as well as much needed education in the emergency response aspect of rare diseases.
